Sep 16th
Welcome to have a look at here, Aion? Today we are going to share a good news, that is Aion’s Scorching Heat Game Coming, now check out for details.

Aion is ready to help players enjoy the last few weeks of summer — or herald its imminent arrival, depending on your hemisphere.
Community Manager Andrew Beegle posted an announcement on Aion’s forums and Facebook page yesterday announcing the arrival of the Scorching Heat event tomorrow, September 15th. Daevas will accumulate the scorching heat drops just by playing, and once you’ve accumulated enough, you can purchase frozen boxes good for all sorts of goodies from bathing suits to candy to dye.
This announcement satisfies the curiosity of many players who have been asking how to acquire scorching heat since the beginning of the month. The event lasts until October 13th.

Sep 15th
Are you new around Aion? If not, i believe you must have some knowledge of the Aion 2.0, right? But today we are going to talk about the 411 on Aion 2.0 Pets, to check out the details below.

Now that Assault on Balaurea has rolled around, the most-asked questions in Aion’s LFG chat revolve not around the new zones, the new solo instances, or even the new event quest (which hasn’t been started yet, by the way) — but around pets! At times, the spam gets on the nerves of Daeva who watch the same questions pour in over and over and over again as new players log in throughout the first days. To help answer these questions, NCsoft has updated its PowerWiki with a very informative article on the pet system to complement the .
With just a click, you get the who, where, and what of starting your adventure in Aion pet ownership. Taking the guesswork out of adopting your newest companion, this article is broken up into easy-to-access sections answering the major questions, complete with step-by-step instructions. Pets are categorized depending on function, and each pet has a labeled picture to show you exactly how it looks.
Even those who think they know enough about pets can find gems of important information within this article; one very significant item to note is that, contrary to popular belief, signal pets will not alert you if the attacker is in hide mode. Another hidden gem is that pets are now available as daily quest rewards. To answer more of those burning questions about Aion’s newest furry — and even the not-so-furry — friends, visit the new PowerWiki article PowerWiki article.

Aion Assault on Balaurea Interview

MMORPG.com:

The pet system is changing drastically with Assault on Balaurea, what was the biggest challenge in enhancing the system as developers? |
|
Sean:

The biggest challenge every design team has is creating something familiar to players, but with a unique spin on it. Pets usually serve one of two purposes in most games: combat or vanity. Combat pets are an extension of the characters ability to fight and a weapon in their own right. Vanity pets serve no purpose other than making their owners look special. We needed to find functional uses that the players would actually need, without breaking the immersion of the game. They needed to look very different, and provide “services” to players that would make exploring more fun than normal. I think we took the time and did it right and the crowds around the Pet Minder in game seem to agree. More > |
Aion Assault on Balaurea Expansion
Sep 8th
The first expansion for Aion, Assault on Balaura, has launched on all servers. Balaurea will give players new zones, quests, pets, weapons, items, skills and more. The best part is that the expansion is free for all Aion players.

- New Instances: Aion hosts eight new instances each filled with fantastic challenges and enticing rewards. These new instances experienced at both lower and higher levels offer a range of challenges for all varieties of players ranging from solo adventures to full-on Legion raids.
- Pets: Pets are no longer only decorative. Aion redefines how MMORPGs approach pets, creating an entire new subsystem for players to explore as they acquire functional pets capable of storing goods, assisting with crafting or acting as guardians by alerting their masters to nearby enemies. Pets are acquired through in-game purchases, quest rewards, item drops, NCsoft Store, and special promotional events.
- New Zones: Players will explore the vast lands of Balaurea, the home of the Balaur, ruled by the Dragon Lord Tiamat. The Asmodians and Elyos have established fortresses in the two new zones: Gelkmaros and Inggison, each area featuring completely new environments, powerful monsters and unique flight mechanics for players to enjoy.
- Increased Level Cap: Five additional levels can be achieved. With an increased level cap of 55, characters will discover new weapons, earn new items and learn new skills as they explore the dangerous lands of Balaurea.
- Enhanced Flight Mechanics: Brand new flight options in the form of Windstreams allow characters to traverse the vast new zones of Gelkmaros and Inggison with increased speed and unlimited flight time. Windstreams have varying strengths and effects, adding a further layer of depth and strategy to Aion’s highly-acclaimed flight mechanics

Aion Inggison Zone Trailer

The new trailer of Aion Inggison Zone which is set to debut with the launch of the Assault on Balaurea update later next month has released now.
Click the above image to watch the Aion Inggison Zone trailer.
Inggison is the Elyos foothold in Balaurea, the home of Aion’s third major (and fully NPC) faction, the Balaur, which are a main focus of the new update. The zone is replete with flora and fauna entirely alien to that found in Atreia, however, travelers should take care, as the beauty of Ingisson’s wildlife can be deceptive: these creatures don’t mess around.
Other dangers await Elyos players who explore Ingisson, such as the Balaur-worshippers of Undirborg, and the Balaur who are defending their Drana at Mephistis Farm. Of course, those silly Asmodians will also be around, vying for control of the Temple of Scales and Avarice Fortresses.
Aion Pet
Aug 13th
Do you still remember the Aion Assault on Balaurea expansion arrvial several days ago? Now players will have the opportunity to have their own Aion Pet. Currently, there are five types of pets available and their ’skills’ range from warning players about approaching danger or expanding a player’s inventory.
While the pets system will continuously evolve throughout the life of the game, Aion: Assault on Balaurea will launch with five pet types:
- Companion – Adventure with their owner throughout Atreia
- Signal – Alert their owner to the presence of enemy players
- Pack – Expand their owner’s inventory
- Fortune – Produce items for their owner after being well-fed
- Purebred – Provide their owner with multiple functions at once
Players will have 100 pet slots available but will only be able to summon one pet at a time. Also, responsible pet ownership is the name of the game: Keeping a pet fed and healthy is important!
Be sure to check out all of the Aion here.
Aion Assault on Balaurea Expansion
Aug 3rd
Nice to see you here, now we are going to take some time to see the Aion Assault on Balaurea Expansion with you. Look details below:
On September 7, NCSoft will launch Aion’s first expansion, Assault on Balaurea where Asmodians and Elyos will bring the war to the Balaur, by invading their homeland. This expansion which can be downloaded for free, bumps the level cap up to 55 and introduces a new region, the homeland of the Balaur. There are 8 new instances and a pet system. It also brings more stigma skills, crafting, weapons and armor.
The Balaur homeland is split into three main areas. Ingisson is the playground of the Elyos while the Asmodians have established a beach head in Gelkmaros. The two maps look almost like mirror images of each other and are filled with cities, fortresses, forests and dungeons. Over a hundred quests and many subzones will keep players adventuring for a while here. Both maps are joined by the Silentera Canyon (which is perfectly symmetrical) where there will be ample opportunity for PvP play as the two factions strive to conquer the Balaur and each other. The Canyon is designed for PvP adventures, with narrow passes and steep walls that players of each race will have to traverse to get to the other side, meeting in the middle in Jotun’s Square as well as a pair of structures by name of Hope’s Demise and Beshmundir Temple. Much of the new expansion is geared towards PvP. Capturing and holding of fortresses will unlock other gameplay options.
Community Manager Andrew Beegle showed me the new maps and new icons that show where the action is happening on the map. Cities and bastions being attacked will be shown to be “Under Siege” and a curious “Balaur Carrier” icon hinted at a quest / wandering NPC. More >
